The DeWitt County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all the bridges and roads in the DeWitt County Highway System. In addition to constructing and maintaining the 96 miles of county highways and 25 county bridges, the department assists the 13 townships of DeWitt County in the construction and maintenance of their 572 miles of township highways and 109 township bridges.
